Halloween Costume Parade & Trick-or-Treating at Playschool

Today at school, we all wore our Halloween costumes. We had a Halloween costume parade through the parking lot, then we got to trick-or-treat in the church office. I'm still getting the hang of this trick-or-treat thing, but I'm thinking I'll love it next year for sure! It sure was fun today!

Molly and I are walking with our teacher Miss Meghan.

I'm holding my little trick-or-treating bag.

Pumpkin Carving

On Wednesday night, Dadda and I made our pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern. It was a little bit messy. I was in charge of putting pumpkin pieces in the trash can and keeping up with the jack-o-lantern's top. I said top a lot last night - It's one of my new words.

The insides of the pumpkin were pretty yucky!

I like putting the top back on the pumpkin.

Kicking all the newspapers around was pretty fun!
I was also able to do a little shopping while Dadda was carving.

I wanted to help, but Dadda was using a tiny pumpkin-carving knife.

I guess I need to post a picture of the finished product ...
That'll be coming soon!

Trunk-or-Treat

At church, they have a real fun event called Trunk-or-Treat. A bunch of church members park their cars and decorate their trunks and us kids go around and trick-or-treat at each one of them. Dadda & Momma's Sunday School class did a Star Wars themed trunk. Dadda wore his Stormtrooper costume even though he had been sick. It was a lot of fun.

I got to debut my Halloween costume at Trunk-or-Treat.
This year I am a bag of Reese's Pieces.

YUM YUM ... MORE CANDY PLEASE!

Auntie H was a Greek Goddess!

Here's my friends Genna (Cowgirl) & William (Nemo).

More Halloween pictures to come soon!

Carousel Fun!

Momma and I have been going to the mall forever. It's a girls' thing to do. Recently I have noticed this really cool spinning contraption with all kinds of animals on it that is in the middle of the mall. Momma calls it a carousel. Dadda calls it a merry-go-round. I call it fun. The other day I rode it with some of my friends.

Momma buckled me in tight, but still kept a hand on me for good measure.

Genna & Ms. Eve enjoyed riding too ...

... as did Owen and Ms. Melissa.

My Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday, Momma, Dadda and I visited the pumpkin patch. We went to the same one as last year, and it was even more fun this year because I can walk and run! As a favorite of Reese's Pieces fans, I have added some flashback pictures from my visit to the pumpkin patch last year. Enjoy!

I'm ready to go get a pumpkin!

I've grown a lot, huh?!

Do I look like a little old man or what?
Amazing what a little hair can do for ya!

Our friends Ms. Jennifer, Mr. Robert and Olivia came to the pumpkin patch with us.

I sort of like this cute little white pumpkin. He's just my size!

Pretty Dress and ... A Bow!

The weather is getting cooler, and I'm getting to wear some new fall clothes. I really like having a bow in my hair, too. And it's a good thing because Momma and Dadda are tired of people calling me "buddy" when we're out in public.

Sometimes it's difficult to get going in the morningtime.

This is my kissy face - I'm giving Dadda a good-bye kiss before he leaves for work.

I'm running down the hall to Dadda on my way to the kitchen for milk and breakfast, with my favorite Millie the Mouse in my arm.
